car seat

I am starting to look at getting a different car seat for DS. He is only 16 pounds but is getting long for his carrier. Can you tell me how to find out the safest one or where I can find the safety ratings? What would you recommend? Thanks

All carseats pass the same exact test to be sold, so they should be treated as equally safe. What is your budget and what do you drive? Is your child fairly tall? These all will help to get the best seat for your purposes.
