Graco double strollers anyone?

So, the hand-me-down double we were given wasn't going to work as it didn't accept an infant car seat.  (It'd be fine for two larger kids but not for my situation.)

Sis has a Graco SnugRide she is passing on to me.  Based on what I can find, both the Graco Quattro Duo and Graco Ready2Grow double strollers appear to accept that car seat.

I'm having  a bear of a time finding either model in a brick n mortar store but both are available all over the place online.  I also seem to be deficient in getting Graco's own product comparison chart to function online to compare the two.

Anyone with experience with either--good or bad?  One is considerably pricier and I don't want to cheap out and get the less expensive one just because it's cheaper; I want to get one that'll work for us and I am having a really hard time figuring that out without getting to try them myself.

We just got the ready2grow from diapers.com.  You can also sign up to eBates.com and get more money off.  We haven't opened the box yet so the only thing I can say is it is a heavy stroller and might take some practice maneuvering from what I've heard.   I find going to amazon and looking through customer reviews to be helpful because there are usually so many.

I played with both Graco strollers at BRU and Buy Buy Baby. I thought I liked the Ready2Grow until I couldn't figure out how to easily move the seats around. They both seemed rather difficult to maneuver due to their length. We ended up going with a side by side.

We got the Graco Ready2Grow.  DS#1 loves the front seat, although, I have to admit, everytime he sees the stroller he makes train noises.  It is looooong, but hey, it's a tandem double, that just goes with the territory.  It is heavy, but even at 40 weeks pregnant I can still lift it into the trunk of our SUV.  You really are not going to find a light double stroller until you can get an umbrella stroller for older toddlers.  Over all, I absolutely love the features on the stroller, and I looked at a lot of strollers!

JJsMum how does it steer?

I kinda figure nothing isn't going to be heavy and that's not my primary concern, more about the maneuverability and ease of folding it down, etc.

I saw the ready-to-grow at BRU, however it was only at the BRU that wasn't also a Toys R us (in our area, the combo stores don't have as much of a selection).

We bought a graco duoglide double stroller 2nd hand gently used for when we also have our nephew with us...from what I've read, it accepts a snugride in the rear seat although I haven't personally tried it.

It steers just fine, as long as you remember that it's long.  We were able to steer it around the furniture and tight corners in our house without any incidents.  It folds down super easy too.  In fact I think our BOB stroller has more steps, but it's certainly as easy.  I can fold the Graco down one handed, lifting it definitely requires two though!

The Ready2Grow has a REALLY shallow front seat.  I tried it with DD and she fit, but her knees were up really high when her feet were on the footrest and it just look uncomfortable since it doesn't support her legs too well.

I saw someone using the Quattro Duo in Target the other day and was surprised at how nice it looked.  I didn't see it up close, so I can't speak to that, but by looks alone it earned my consideration and I came home and did some research on it.

You should consider checking out the Kolkraft Contours Options double.  It's currently my fave, aside from the City Select that I can't justify spending that much money on.
