Sonogram Pics

So my DH and I decided we would tell our parents on Valentines day. The plan was to give them cards that would typically be from a grandchild to a grandparent then sign it from the baby. 

Well I made my first dr appt today with sonogram and it is on the 12th of Feb. So I was thinking thats even better because now maybe we can give them a copy of the sonogram in the card. So my question is, how many pics do you get usually? Do you think I could ask them for 2 extras so that I could give them each a copy?

I was given 6 at my last ultrasound. It can`t hurt to ask for extras if they only give you a couple.

My OB would hit print every time she had a good view of them.  I remember walking out of there once with a strip of u/s pictures as long as me.  If your OB is anything like mine, they won't mind printing off a few extras.  You could always photo copy too.

Doesn't hurt to ask. I believe I was given 4 copies at each u/s. I think I was given more because my SO was in the room.

It depends, I've had some give me just one copy, and another give me 4. It certainly doesn't hurt to ask for 2, I'm sure they would be happy to oblige

They might be able to give you extras. If not, what I did was scan mine and print copies.

You could snap a pic of your favorite and have it printed quickly at walgreens...
