birthing ball!

Hello ladies!

I bought a birthing ball...Well actually a yoga ball from target. I filled it up today and was just leaning on it for about 5 minutes and it was sooo nice! It took away a lot of back pain! I seriously wish I had this the whole time. I highly suggest getting on to lean on, it was magical! :)

My doctor said to get one that is 65 cm and anti-burst. Just fyi if you are going to get one.

I know, right? I bought one with my first and love it. It's a yoga ball to, but firm and oh so comfy, lol. I use it to bounce when little mr. is putting to much pressure down there, roll on it for comfort and just sitting on it sometimes really helps. FYI keep out of reach of toddlers, lol. I learned that 1 broken lamp later.

Ooh, that reminds me I need to reinflate mine.  I got it and didn't end up using it (I was at my parents' house when I went into labor) but I used the one at the hospital.  This time I want to labor a bit longer at home if I'm allowed and use it at the hospital since I'm not doing the epidural this time around.

No, you lean on it like you are hugging it sort of. http://www.babycentre.co.uk/a1048463/using-a-birth-ball

Now I will get one. I've been wanting one, but nobody I know has given me any reviews. Thanks!

If you are petite then you're supposed to use a 55 cm stability / yoga ball. Does that hold true if you want to use it for birthing?
