CM/Preseed/Semen?

I know this gets asked a lot but I can't find it. We BD last night which was day 2 of positive OPK and I was really dry today until the last time I went to the restroom. I can tell if what came out was watery CM, Preseed or semen. Perhaps tmi but it was thicker until I rubbed between my fingers and then it had a watery consistency. It wasn't white but it wasn't clear.

I'm waiting for temps to confirm that I actually Od in line with my positive OPKs so I know I need to be accurate with my CM observations. Would love any input and I'll save it for the next time I run into this problem. Thanks!

I *really* think you need to step away from the chart.  Your posts over the past 10ish days are bordering obsessive.

They all taste fine to me! J/K. Only semen has the proper amount of protein.

I was honestly worried about even asking this because I knew I would get this type of reaction. I am not being obsessive. Yes the last few days I have been confused and I have taken everyone's feedback and redid a few of the FF tutorials to better understand my temps. It was very helpful and im grateful that someone gave me that advice.

Now, I would really appreciate input on this to ensure I am not charting fertile CM when I am in fact dry and what I'm seeing is just the left over of our BD sesh. I think that's a fair and reasonable question

It's hard to tell by your description.  If it was not stretchy, and also wasn't clear, I would probably put down 'creamy'.

I don't think you are being obsessive, just meticulous.  I wish I would have been more discerning with the charting process a long time ago.

I actually wondered the same thing today when checking CM, since we BD'd this morning, and I am still waiting for a + OPK.  Here is a recent post I found regarding the issue, and it seems the consensus is it requires 12 hours to know for sure:

 (sorry not clicky)

Also, there was a bit on fertility friend I found, not sure if it is helpful.  I have to imagine some others here have dealt with the same.

Thank you. It was almost cloudy and when I rubbed my fingers together it was clear. No stretch.

When you close your eyes and rub your fingers together, does it feel like lotion?  If so, I'd mark creamy.  If it's more watery and less lotion-y, mark watery.

Have you ready Taking Charge of Your Fertility?  It's a great resource.

You are being obsessive. Step away from your chart.
