Adhesive Allergies

I saw somewhere on here this week someone saying they are allergic to adhesive and has to do the patches. I also am and have welps from them. I asked my nurse this morning about it and she said to put benadryl on the spot your going to put the patch about 45 min before you put the patch on. Make sure its very dry first of course then place the patch. She said this should help with the allergy. Just thought I would share, hope this helps someone!

TTC on and off since April 2007. IUI#1 (50mg Clomid + Trigger) 3/14. BFP 3/25 at 11dpo. No heartbeat at 8 weeks on 4/26, D&C 4/27. IUI #2 7/22 (50mg Clomid +Trigger)= CP. IUI #3 8/16 = BFN. IUI#4 9/14= BFN. IVF#1 started 10/31; cancelled 11/15. New clinic; 1st visit 12/26. IVF #1 (take 2) cancelled. IVF#1 (take 3)Feb. 2013! 2/9/13 ER = 25 eggs. 24 M/22F. 5dt (SET)2/14. 2/25= BFP! Beta 372!

Haha thanks for the correction. Its funny you chose that picture, I have a springer lol. I always thought it was whelp, like a allergic reaction to something could give you whelps. But I dont think allergies cause whelps like that. Wow I feel dumb.

That was me! Thank you! I'm going to try that. Today is my first day with the patches.

TTC #1 for Dh, #2 for me. HSG clear. Low AMH and endo. Multiple Clomid w/TI cycles - all BFNs. 2 IUIs with Clomid and 1 with Femara - more BFNs. IVF#1 25R, 15M, 15F. 5DT of two perfect 4AA blasts! Positive HPT at 5dp5dt. Beta #1 6dp5dt - 72. Beta #2 8dp5dt - 285. Beta #3 10dp5dt - 793. Both babies have strong beautiful heartbeats! Baby B miscarried at 7 weeks. Baby A is holding on through miscarrying her twin, sub-chorionic hematoma, and complete placenta previa. Stick, baby, stick!

| Married since 2008 | DH and I: Both 30 | | Me: Endometriosis DH: Low Morph | | Planning IVF with PGD and PGS in 2013 | Freeze-All IVF #1: March 2013 ER 3/26. 29R, 12M, 11F. 4 frozen embryos. Freeze-All IVF#2: May 2013. Our PGD probe will be completed in early May. Hoping for healthy embryos and an FET this summer.
