Progesterone Test

So I am sitting at 7dpiui (2ww is beginning to make me moody!) and had my blood drawn this morning. My level was at 23.4 according to my OB, now I am just waiting to hear back from my RE on whether or not I will need supplements. I honestly don't know much about these levels and what level it takes to be put on supplements? Anyone out there have knowledge to share on progesterone levels? Does your level mean anything more than you either ovulated or your didn't? Thanks in advance for sharing!

Me:31 one blocked tube. DH:37 Perfection.
March-June 2012: Au Naturale. No Luck
July-November 2012: Letrazole. No Luck
December 2012: Au Naturale. No Luck
January 2013: Menopur & IUI
IUI on 01-16-13. AF arrived day 11, BFN!!
BCPs, 10 units Lupron started 2/20, Follistim & Menopur begin 3/2
HCG trigger 3/9 & ER 3/11
ET 3/16, BFP 6dp5dt!!!
Beta #1:196 Beta #2: 424 1st U/S on 4/3
One beautiful HB on 4/17!!

I just basically means you ovulated and doesn't give an indication of pregnancy. Above 7 means ovulation occurred, and usually they like 20 in my experience after iui or ivf, which would support a pregnancy if it occurred. Sounds good to me! GL!

Me: 35, DH: 36, ttc: 3+ years, dx: unknown
10/11: after 2 years, saw a RE, FSH 5.4
11/11: BFP! (surprise after thyroid med & normal hsg),
12/11: missed m/c after 7 week u/s,
1/12: D&C,
6/12 IUI #1: clomid, 5 mature follicles, excellent sperm,= BFN,
7/12: IUI #2: clomid, 3 mature follicles, excellent sperm= BFN,
8/12: IUi #3: clomid, 5 follicles, = BFP!, C/P
10/12 IVF #1: FSH 5.4, estradiol AFC: 14, long Lupron 150/bravelle75,5R/5M/4F, all 4 made it to 5dt, 1 blast and 1 8 cell transferred. No frosties. BFN
IVF #2: AFC 21, MD lupron 12/25, 225bravelle/150men, 4R/4M/3F, 5dt of 1 blast BFN
IVF #3: natural start antagon, starting 3/30, ER 4/11, 12R,11M,10F

I believe my RE says anything over 15 preferably 18.

2/21/13 - Went to RE expecting the worse and saw the flutter of the heart...still measuring small. To God be the Glory!!
2/28/13 - heart rate = 147bpm!! Measuring on target!
3/21 - First OB Appt / hr=170bpm

My RE wants over 20 for it to be viable pg. I read online 10 to 15 and I was a 7 at the start of my pg, so my suppositories were switched to PIO shots, it jumped and stayed closer to 30 to 50 but I still miscarried. My RE doesn't have answers but it is possible the low progesterone indicated an unhealthy pg or if the low levels caused complications and the PIO shots just kept things going a little longer. But check with RE, I had an unsuccessful iui with progesterone level of 27 at day 22 or 23. So don't think there is much proving pg or not but if you are pg, the numbers matter for it to be viable. GL!!!

Sounds good to me!  I have low progesterone and was on Endometrin after my last 2 IUI's and had a high of 15 with the medication.  
Me (37) DH (39); Finally correctly diagnosed with DOR in 2012; Started TTC 2009; RE 2009/2010- RE cycle #1 clomid+ ovidrel + TI = BFN; RE cycle #2 clomid + ovidrel + TI=BFN; RE cycle #3 femara + ovidrel + IUI= BFN; RE cycle #4 75iu follistim + ovidrel + IUI= BFN; RE cycle #5 150iu follistim + ovidrel + IUI = BFN ; Took a break and had Weight loss surgery in 2011, back to new RE in 2012 ; AMH 0.43 IVF #1 /ICSI and AH; MDL protocol - ER 2/11 5R, 3M, 2F Three day transfer of 8 cell grade 3 and 8 cell grade 2 embryos. BFN. RPL testing shows homo MTHFR and hetero PAI-1. IVF #2 antagonist-ER 5/14 8R 6M 5F. Three day transfer of 3 embies. 6 cell grade 3, 4 cell grade 2, 5 cell grade 3. Hoping and praying. Thank you everyone!! RE said the numbers are fine, so no supplements for me...it was one of the nurses who called me and she actually said I can take a HPT at day 9piui. Hmmm, I didn't question her but it seemed early to me, but of course I will be at my stash of HPTs in 2 days just because she said I could LOL!
