KatieM558:Could it be a polyp? I had several that grew within the first few months of my pregnancy. If its high up and she's not familiar with them then it might be hard to determine what it is. Pregnancy hormones can cause polyps. In any case no information would not be okay with me. Press the issue and find out or get a second opinion. Tere is no point in worrying about it for so long.
This is really reassuring. She kept saying pollyp, but then said she doesn't know what it is? I have no idea. To be honest, she seemed a bit underqualified to begin with. I have had 4 pelvic exams in the last 4 weeks, and this is the only one that has ever been painful. I was literally in tears the entire time because it hurt so bad, and have been cramping all day as a result. That being said, I am not seeing her again for a multitude of reasons and have an appointment with a different doctor on Feb 11.
