Non-alcoholic wine while pregnant?

Has anyone tried non-alcoholic wine while pregnant in the second semester (less than 1% alcohol)?

I've heard it's gross, but if you're worried about the alcohol in it, it's probably fine. Just don't drink gallons of it. I'm kind of snotty about wine, though, so YMMV.

I tried some "fre" back in the first trimester.  I still have a bottle of it hanging around.  IMO, it does not taste like wine at all.  Better off just buying some tasty juice or something for variety ;-)

Just tried it last night... Tastes like expensive juice.... Once ur in ur 2nd trimester most docs will say its ok to have an occasional glass of wine if that is what u crave like me ;-)

There is still some alcohol in it, so I would avoid it.  Plus it probably sucks, wait until the baby is born and enjoy the real stuff is my philosophy.

I've heard it sucks. I'd rather have a small glass of real wine. If you're not comfortable with that, though, I would suggest saving your money and waiting it out.

I think I'd just go for a small glass of the real thing!

I love wine so I figured I'd give the "Fre" a chance.. .it's not bad, but really does taste a bit like juice.  I had the Mascato and the champagne at New Years... To my knowledge it's safe I know other pregnant ladies that have drank it while pregnant.  I have tried to be pretty careful about things and have drank it...but you have to do whatever makes you comfortable.

I crave wine and beer a lot.  I have tried many and I am a huge wine/beer snob.  :)

Most of them straight up suck!  I have found only one that I like and I buy about a bottle a week.  Its called Ariel.  They have a website www.arielvineyards.com.

Seriously though...I have a couple of servings of wine/beer a week.  It's relaxing and tastes wonderful!!
