For those who did Estrogen Priming Protocol

For those who have done or are doing EPP did u notice a change in AF while taking estrace?

Tmi sorry but mine came today and is more wateryew and lighter in color

Anyone else notice this?
TTC # 1
Me: Hashimotos Disease, Elavated Prolactin, Uterine Polyps DH: SA good
12/11: HSG polyps found; 1/12: 1st apt with RE; 1/12: SHG: polyps confirmed, 2/12: diagnosed with Hashimotos, prescribed synthroid; Elevated prolactin, MRI clear, prescribed Dostinex; 2/12: hysteroscopy & D&C
3/2012 unmedicated cycle= BFN
4/2012 trigger + iui + endometrin=BFN
5/2012 Ovaries look "PCO-Like". Finally able to trigger on CD28. Trigger + TI + Endometrin = BFN
6/2012 Follistim + Trigger + iui = BFN
7/2012 Follistim + Trigger + iui = BFN
Unmedicated cycles 8/2012 & 9/2012=BFN
10/2012 IVF#1 = BFP 9dp3dt Beta=20, 14dp3dt Beta=9 C/P
IVF#2 Estrogen Priming Protocol beginning 1/14/2013
Beta 7dp5dt 117, Beta 9dp5dt 223, Beta 12dp5dt 583
1st Ultrasound 2/28 showed two yolk sacs!

Mine has been about the same so far. It's been really light, almost non-existant since I started eating high protein/low carb diet. Who knows. :-/

I am going in tomorrow for CD2 blood work and will hopefully start stims tomorrow night! We will be on the same schedule!

Hi Harley and Boots too -- just want to say I'm doing the EPP right now as well, but am a few days behind both of you -- patch on yesterday, first ganirelix injection this a.m.  Good luck to both of you, and let's touch base now and then -- I'd be very interested to hear how things are progressing.  

(I'm doing the EPP mostly out of hope that it will result in better egg quality; I've gotten one or no mature eggs on other protocols.) 

 
Me: 39. DH: 41. TTC since 2009.
FSH: 9.5 at highest. AMH (11/2011): 0.9. AFC: 10ish. HSG: Normal. SA: Normal.
July 2011 - Feb. 2012: 2 Clomid/TI cycles; 3 injectables/IUI cycles. Good response but BFNs.
Dec. 2011: Laparoscopy (clear) + hysteroscopy to remove uterine polyp.

April 2012: IVF #1: FSH 9.2, AFC 7-8. Antagonist protocol.
Started stims (300iu Gonal-F, 150iu Menopur) 3/28.
Added ganirelix 4/1. Trigger 4/5 (7 follies). ER 4/7: 7R, 0M, 0F. :-(

Nov. 2012: IVF #2: Long Lupron protocol.
Started Lupron 10/27. AFC 10+. Started stims (300iu Follistim, 150iu Menopur) 11/8.
Trigger 11/18 (7 follies). ER 11/20: 9R, 1M, 1F. 3dt of my one 6-cell embie on 11/23: BFN.

Dec. 2012: Hail Mary IUI cycle with leftover IVF meds: BFN.

Feb. 2013: IVF #3: Estrogen priming protocol.
Pre-AF: estro patch + ganirelix. AFC 8-10. Started stims (450 Follistim, 150 Menopur) 1/28.
Added ganirelix 2/4. Combined Lupron/HCG trigger 2/10 (6-ish follies).
ET 2/12: 6R, 1M, 1F w/rescue ICSI. My embie didn't make it. :-(

July 2013: DE IVF #1

PAIF/SAIF/PA35 welcome.

Just curious, how long have you been taking estrogen? I've been on since 1/14 didn't know if that was an averge amount of time?

Same with me on the two mature eggs from the other protocol! I hope this does the trick for both of us!

I didn't do ganirelix? Only estrace orally 2x daily. When is AF due to come for you? Ill have my FX for u! Let me know how it goes and ill do the same !

Hi Harley. My protocol is estrogen patches until AF plus ganirelix injections yesterday, today, and tomorrow. I'm honestly not sure what the purpose of the preAF ganirelix is; I didn't get the chance to discuss this particular protocol with my RE in detail. One AF arrives mid next week I'll be doing what looks like a traditional antagonist type protocol: stims, then adding in more ganirelix a few days before trigger. Lets hope the estrogen priming works well for both of us!
