Lupron side effects?

Hi ladies!
I had my first Lupron injection tonight about 4 hours ago and I'm starting to feel some light cramping on my right side, nausea and a whopper of a headache!
I've read that nausea and headaches are definite side effects but what about the cramping????
What were your side effects?

Insomnia and headaches...my nurse said that this is an early dose of what menopause will be like.

I started my Lupron injections on Sunday morning, and have yet to have any side effects (knock on wood). I felt reeeeeaally tired and dizzy last night all of a sudden, but felt fine today. So I don't know if that's related or not. I was on Lupron for 6 months a couple of years ago though and had night sweats almost every night :/

**TTC #1 since Sep 2009** Me: 31 DH: 29 (healthy, SA = normal)

DX (May 2010) = Lap #1 showed Stage I-II endometriosis. HSG normal. Tx with 6 mo Lupron (which did nothing...) Lap #2 June 2011 to remove endo, uterine fibroid, and polyp

IUI #1-#3 (July-Sep 2011): All Clomid 50 mg + unmonitored IUI = All BFN

October 2011 - April 2012: Outta $$$ (no insurance coverage) = back to tryin' on our own

May 2012 - August 2012: Mental break from trying

October 2012: New OB. Bloodwork normal aside from slightly low progesterone

November 2012: IUI #4: Letrozole 2.5 mg + Novarel trigger + monitored IUI + progesterone = BFN

IVF #1: Long Lupron Protocol,Menopur,Follistim, ER = 2/12/13 27R/26M/23F

2/17/13 Transferred 1 perfect Grade 1 blast. 17 frostbabies.

HPT 7dp5dt: BFP!!! Beta #1 9dp5dt: 108 Beta #2 11dp5dt: 368

U/S #1 3/19: One little bumpkin with a perfect HB!! EDD: 11/5/13

I had one really killer headache, but only one. Other than that, no side effects.
Married my wife 8/2007 *** TTC #1 since 7/2011
4 IUIs w/ midwives = 4 BFNs
5 IUIs w/ an RE = 5 BFNs
IVF October/November 2012
ER 11/1: 22 eggs retrieved, 17 fertilized!
ET 11/6: 1 blast transferred, 5 frozen
BFP 11/15! Beta #1: 104 Beta #2: 613 Beta #3: 3415
Blighted ovum discovered at 7w5d; D&E 12/13
FET 1 cancelled
FET 1.1: ET 4/30: 1 blast transferred
BFP 5/7! Beta #1: 142 Beta #2: 730 Beta #3: 3184
U/S on 5/29 shows 1 bean with a hb!
6/18: No hb at 9w5d. Baby measures 7w5d.

This is my second time on Lupron and I dont believe I had any memorable side effects.  I just started my injections this past Saturday and so far so good so hopefully you are just overthinking it.

I never had any cramping from the Lupron, just a dull headache and some insomnia. I hope your headache doesn't last too long!!
Me: 34, DH: 30 :: TCC since 2/11
SA: Perfect! CD3 b/w=Elevated Prolactin? HSG = Blocked Right Tube
April- Femara 2.5mg + Trigger + IUI = BFN
May- Femara 5mg = CX - No Response on Left = BFN
June- Femara 7.5mg + Trigger + IUI = BFN
August- Lap & Hysteroscopy = Blocked & Partially Blocked Tubes
Scar Tissue Removed, Left Tube Partially Open
September- Femara 5mg = CX - No Response on Left = BFN
October- 100mg Clomid + Trigger + TI = BFN
IVF # 1: Stims 11/30 ER 12/12/12! (10R, 10M, 8F, 2T, 6 Frosties)
Beta #1- 176 c/p @ 4w4d
FET #1 February 26th
Lost 4 Frosties to Thaw, Transferred 2 = BFFN
IVF # 2 Stims 5/10 ER 5/21 (15R, 13M, 13F, 2T, 7F- 6d3 & 1d5)
Beta # 1- 15 c/p
One More FET Left, Please Let This Be It!

Insomnia and an occasional hot flash in the middle of the night...some nights I wondered if the covers were on fire! Shew!!

Thanks ladies! I think I was over analyzing every feeling! Lol! The cramping stopped as soon as I stopped worrying about it! Haha!
I still have a little headache but not bad and holy hot flashes!!!
I live in NY and its FREEZING here!!! Everyone is bundled up and I am stripping down! Lol!
