Is it possible to look at your local community colleges?
I have indeed asked at the only community college we have here(This town has about 100,000 people, and only one community college. There IS, however, a university here, but their reputation isn't very good and tuition is VERY high. I wasn't looking into getting a full degree online, but maybe something that I can do for a year or so then transfer to a physical school after my DH gets some time under his belt at his new job. Right now he is only making 8.15/hr, but they've promised him an almost dollar raise(still not much I know) if he will stick with them a year.
He is employed at AAFES, so is technically employed by the DoD as a civilian. I am a waitress, and make okay money, but only if I work so many hours a week and bust my you know what, so you can definitely see why I wish to get an actual education with a LO almost here!
We are hoping to move in a year or two and that is when, hopefully, I would transfer from whatever program online I was attending into an actual classroom setting.
