Short LP and High 7DPO Progesterone

Anyone else have this? What did you do? And did you do it with your regular doctor/GYN or an RE?

Details: I don't temp (never sleep 3+ hours at a time - too much pain) but do use CBFM and keep an eye on CM. I ovulate around day 20. My LP is usually 9-10 days. My 7DPO progesterone was 24.9. We started our basic fertility testing with my high-risk gyn at the 6 month mark (chronic pain condition so they are being a bit more proactive since I'm off the meds while trying to get KU). We'll head to an RE in April if we don't have a BFP by then.

10 is technically ok and since you are not temping so you don't have an exact O date (granted tempting has room for error as well) you are probably ok.

They may want to do an endo biopsy on you around 8-9 dpo to see if your lining is in proper phase. If your levels drop too quickly that may be the issue. If it is not, often times progesterone supplements are helpful with that (provided everything else checks out ok).

Before starting with RE, I had late O around cd 18 cd 20 and short lp, averaging 10 days. My progesterone was low, so RE was able to regulate me with clomid. They also found I had weak ovulation. Your RE will have you do all the normal protocols , cd 3 bloodwork, u/s, 7dpo blood work during the 1st month to give you a diagnosis, then treat you accordingly.
