I remember going to the doc when my LO was about yours' age, and being told the exact same thing, lol
At a month, my LO didn't do much besides sleep, I think I started using the bouncer, but she didn't really enjoy that until 6 or 7 weeks old. I would read to her or sing, walk around, just get out of the house and go to Target, that kind of stuff. Even now at 10 weeks, I'm sometimes at a loss of what to do with her!
