DH threw this out the other day for a future son, and it's growing on me! His favorite movie is Cinderella Man, so I know it comes from the real-life boxer James J. Braddock. When I looked it up, I was surprised to find it's a legit name. I'd like to know your thoughts!
Also, is there any possibility that he would NOT be nicknamed Brad? It's not a deal breaker, but Brad is not my favorite.
tdenen:I like it! And I don't think he would have to be Brad. Braddock doesn't require a nn.
Thanks for validating...at least I'm not totally crazy!
Joy2611:This last name as a first name trend is getting really out of control.
I couldn't agree more!!
saham07:I think when saying it fast or without thinking, it sounds like BradDICK. I wouldn't do that to a kid.
Good point. I say it Brad-duck, otherwise I would have already ruled it out on that basis.
Spookster:Reminds me of a horse paddock
Reminds me of horse paddock and buttock...and it sounds like brad-*** when you say it. It's bad any way you look at it.
