Target website problems??

Is anyone else having problems with their website?? It keeps sending me directly to the log in page and then refreshes every 2 seconds so it's impossible to log on. Grr... I wanted to add some stuff to my registry but I can't do anything on there!

Same here! DH said it was because I haven't cleared out my cookies in a while. But I did it at my home computer and my work one and after logging in more than two times it starts again! I was going to ask this a few days ago, but I'm glad I'm not alone.

It did it to me too but if you can hit sign out really quick it eventually quit acting crazy.

this has been happening to me for a few weeks. Use the mobile website;

m.target.com... that should let you access your registry and look up items.

Yes!! I clear my cookies and browser history and it lets me log in again but every time I want to I have to go through the process of deleting my browser history and cookies. I hope they fix it soon.

Yeah...the target website has been doing this with me all week too whenever I use internet explorer...but when I tried it on google chrome it worked fine.  I guess because I never use google chrome so don't really have any cookies/browsers.  Maybe you can use another internet browser that you don't normally use (like chrome, or foxfire or something) that way you don't have to clear your history if you don't want to.  Just an idea.

Yes! For about a week. It's making me insane.

ETA: Sometimes when I use Explorer instead of Firefox, I have some luck.

It's been doing this for me, too.  I called Target Customer Service last night for another question and ended up asking about this one, but the CS rep said she'd never had anyone complain about this issue and hadn't heard of it.

So, please call them too, so I'm not the only crazy person complaining about the website! : )

Same here.  Trying to change my wedding registry and it just refreshes so I have to load a completely different safari page.  Must be an issue with their system.

And I included the link to this thread showing that MANY people are having this problem. Annoying!

I'm no internet whiz, but I'm assuming they updated something that is clashing with stored cookies.  I was having the problem for the past two weeks and couldn't figure out how to clear cookies in all of my browsers (I use Chrome and IE at work and Mozilla at home). 

Once I cleared my cookies, I have had no problems.  I thought the site was getting mad at me for logging into my registry so much. :)

The only thing that Target can really do is put a message on their site saying to clear your cookies.
