Ok.. I know this is gross. But my DH fell rock climbing and broke his back about 7 years ago. Although you wouldn't know it by looking at him, he has titanium for one of his vertebrae (everything works normal except pain occasionally)
But ever since his injury he has had blood in his ejaculate. His urologist tried to figure it out before we were TTC. Said that he couldn't find anything not to worry about it.
Now we have realized when he has no sperm in his SA his specimen was clear or what you would typically expect. When he does have sperm, his SA is bloody. His volume is also super low. We're trying to have enough to do and IUI and after 4 freezes we still aren't close.
Does anyone have ANY ideas what could be happening. We are going to a different urologist on Monday to see about a ultrasound of his seminal vesicle. I have NO idea what to ask.
So frustrated because a year ago when we started all this i told him we need to go straight to a urologist who specialized in MFI. But since none of the drs were recommending it he thought we didnt need to do it!
crpate:Ive been saying to DH we were wasting our time not going to the specialist! Maybe he will listen a year later!
Could you make an appointment at a MFI uro. And just tell him it's a Uro. Ours does everything and MFI.
