I love the name Ruby, but I don't know if I will ever use it.

Anthony but its already taken by a family member I don't want to name a child after.  Other names I would love to use but MH would never let me are Harlow and Ryder.

I have 12 nieces and nephews, so I had to count those names out immediately. I have 2 pregnant sisters and I am not telling them my thoughts because It will become a fight.

This question is hard...there I names I wish I could use because my H shot them down, bad associations, names already used my family or close friends, and then guilty pleasure names.  I have about a bajillion if you include all those.

Paige - would probably be our top girl name if close friends didn't name their DD this who is about 2 days older than Eli

Bridget, Georgia, Virginia, Josephine, Andrea, Audrey, Lydia, Cecilia, Katherine, Annika, Lorelai - Names my H shot down for one reason or another

My two favorite names in the world are Hugo and Imogen. We can't use Hugo because our LN is similar to Krug, and I think kid's would tease him and call him Hugo Krugo. Imogen is still a possibility, but I don't think my hubby likes it much. I'm also not a very good speaker, so when I say Imogen, I feel kind of uncomfortable saying it. :(

Lolita.  It was my grandmother's name and I love it.  But DH thinks there's a negative connotation.  I suppose he's right because I would hate to think what middle aged- older men would think of it when she was a teenager.

When I was younger I loved Damien and Dalilah. Well Damien I've lost interest in, and Hubby associates Dalilah with the radio show. Boo.

My likes Hubby shot down hardcore: Anastacia, Adelaide, Emmalyn

Won't use because of associations with TV/Movies: Lorelai, Cordelia, Primrose,  Nessarose

There are names that are out because they sound weird with last name, are used by close family, or have bad associations that I love: Aaron, Phineas, Isabel...

 And there are names that are GP but I can't see us using: Aurora, Omri, Maeve

I wish I could use Gemma - it's my guilty pleasure name. Even if DH would agree, I still wouldn't because our LN starts with a G.

In a weird way I've always liked the names Percy and Perpetua.  I'm saving Percy for a dog, but Perpetua will just remain a pipe dream. I think I just like the way it sounds.

I LOVE Juliet & Julietta but we've decided on using Italian names/spellings and I just don't care for the look of Giulietta with our G- last name.

Clara (my very favorite girl name right now, other than DD's), Eliza, Willa, and a host of other names ending in the "ah" sound.  Our last name starts with the "ah" sound, and I don't like the way the sounds run together.  My name is Laura, and I hate the way it sounds with my married name (and I couldn't hyphenate with my maiden name because it would have made my full name ridiculous).

Cooper and Spencer and Dalton all family names and I just can't use them, we may use Dalton as a middle name because I love it so much.

I have always LOVED the name Joshua.  But I dated one, before DH and well... I woudn't even suggest it.....it would be weird.

But I think it's such a nice name.

Violet. Aside from just liking the name, it has special meaning to me because my mom always keeps violets and it's a strong association. DH is not a fan.

Jeremiah, Jude, Jack - Our DD has a 'J' name and so does my H.  I don't want to be the 'J' family!

Anderson, Declan, Levi, Lucas/Luke, Audra - All vetoed by H.

Beau, Brynn, Brenna, Wren - They all sound weird/wrong with our 1 syllable 'B' last name :(
