Need indoor venue for large baby shower (100+)! PLS HELP!!!!

Does anyone have any good recommendations for an indoor venue for a baby shower for a large number of guests (100+)?

It’s going to be towards the end of June so outdoors is going to be too hot to do.

Thanks so much!!!

OP - that is a HUGE shower. Does your hostess(es) know how big a party you're thinking?

I actually hosted a 100 person shower!  Try looking into community centers, VFW halls, or if someone has an HOA clubhouse.  Typically you can rent these venues for under $100, they often have tables and chairs, and then you can bring in your own food to keep the budget manageable.

I don't live in FL, so can't give specific recommendations, but look at the town/park websites in your area for rec centers and the like or ask on your local board.  You might also ask a local board on The Knot, as those ladies are probably more familiar with large group venues.

Thank you so much! I will look into these right away! Yes, 100+ is HUGE and i am more of a simple person so this has me with a litte anxiety but my hostesses (my mom and best friend) try to keep me out of the loop so i wont stress it. Tongue Tied

If you attend a church, you might want to check with them. I'm helping out (not hosting - too close to my due date) with a shower that has 50+ invited and the church rented their chapel out for $50.

My bridal shower was at a country club - not sure of how much that would cost, but might be worth looking into.

You could always call a local non-profit and see where they have held fundraisers in the past.

This.  You can also call the Chamber of Commerce and they can give you ideas.  I've actually used a Senior Center in my old town...it held up to 200 with plenty of space and we brought in our own food.  It was $50 on a Sunday.  Plus it was somewhat decorated for the season.

I'm in Palm Beach County, and the only places that I can think of that won't break the bank are outdoors....The Rusty Pelican is beautiful and has big spaces, but it's pricey. Art Deco Welcome Center and the Cocoplum are other options.

I had a 50ish person shower at a restaurant and that was only for our friends and family up north, so I can imagine a huge event, but it does get pretty costly.

Are you expecting 100 or inviting 100?  You may only end up with 50 people, which is still alot.

Is it possible to break this into two showers, one for each side of the family? Has anyone on your H's side mentioned hosting one? I can't even imagine how long the gift-opening is going to take.

Our metroparks have indoor facilities (most with some with kitchens) that aren't too bad price range. It ranges from 150-1000 depending on which facility you use and what day and time. I think the weekend prices start at 300. However, register soon because the summer months fill up fast due to wedding receptions and graduation parties. They look really pretty too.
