huwehotaling:My LO is 6 weeks and is up about an hour - 1 1/2 hours between naps. She has been more alert than most newborns since the beginning though so she stays awake longer during the day. She sometimes fights naps too.
This. Mine is 9 weeks and sometimes pushes it to 2 - 2 1/2 and is miserable, but he fights naps so hard. When he does nap, he only sleeps for 30-45 min. Most days I really try and start putting him down around the hour mark.
