How swollen? Some swelling is normal. You need to drink a ton of water. A ton...a gallon. And elevate your feet above your kidneys. And then rest. It can take a while.

My midwife told me to drink drinks with electrolytes. I've had a vitamin water every day and my swelling had improved.

That is how my feet were with my first pregnancy.  Luckily I lived in a warm weather climate where I could basically wear flip flops every day.  Otherwise there is no way shoes would have fit for over half my pregnancy.  My OB was never concerned because I did not have any "pitting" but I did have high BP that was not considered pre-eclampsia.

I have heard that eating lots of protein helps.

Compression hose?

Recommend Dr Scholls compression knee high socks. Looks like dress socks. 10 bucks at Walmart. Great price to see my ankles again!

What's helped me has been elevating my feet above my heart.  My feet now almost look like my feet used to, just some minor swelling as opposed to the footballs that they looked like last week.
