At nine weeks, you don't have a baby bump.
Have you taken a pregnancy test that turned positive? Then you're pregnant.
And... if you are 9 weeks right now, then at your sonogram you will be 12 weeks, which is still far too early for a sex determination. They will, however, be able to tell you how far along you are.
