not gaining weight at 18 weeks

Ok  ladies, i will be 18 weeks tomorrow and have only gained 3 lbs. since I became pregnant. This is my second pregnancy but i swear i gained a lot more by this stage last time. I am scared that something might be wrong with the baby. I have not had any morning sickness, or any change in my diet. I have actually been eating healthier than what I was pre-pregnancy. I dont know if I should be worried about this or not?

You said it yourself.  You're eating healthier than pre-pregnancy.  That right there is going to account for a lot of it.  If your doctor isn't worried you shouldn't be either.

I didn't really gain anything until 20 weeks last time and went on to have a healthy 7 lb 12 oz full term baby. I really wouldn't worry if your docctor isn't worried.

I'm 24 weeks and only up 7 lbs. If your Dr isn't concerned, then don't worry.

I didn't gain any weight until about 20 weeks. If you doctor isn't worried you shouldn't be either. Check with them. As long as you are eating well you should be just fine.

I am down 3 lbs still and am 18.5 weeks. I had no morning sickness either. I eat pretty much the same healthiness, just much more. I have no idea how I have lost weight. My dr asked me if I was dieting. Heck no! I had gained 8 lbs by 20 weeks with my last pregnancy, so it just goes to show that no pregnancy is the same. I am sure you are fine, and you will gain it soon.

Ditto pp's.  I'm sure you're ok.  I only gained 12 lbs total with my first pg and had a healthy baby 7 lbs 2 oz.  I'm almost 18 weeks along now and though I haven't weighed myself in a while, I think I've only gained a couple lbs, but I lost weight during 1st tri due to lack of appetite.

I at healthier after becoming pregnant cause I couldnt stand sugar and salt they made me sick. So that in itself was probably enough to make me loose weight along with the steady morning sickness. I lost 8 pounds in the first tri and at 23 weeks I have only gained about 2.5 pounds. Don't worry about it, as long as your eating and stuff. Your actual baby doesn't weigh much yet.

I went to the Dr today and asked him about me not gaining any weight.  He said the baby is growing fine and there is no reason to worry.  I am happy that I am not going to be as big as I was with my first pregnancy.

You only need 300 more calories more a day to feed the baby and most of the weight should be gained at the end when the baby is growing.  Right now the baby only weighs 9oz.

Can't say it any better than this. Your doctor will let you know when/of it's a concern. Until then, don't fret. It's fairly common to not gain until later on, especially if you changed the way you eat.

I haven't gained anything and I'm almost 20w. No one is concerned.

If your doctor isn't worried, you shouldn't be, either. I've only gained around 15 or 16 lbs this pregnancy.

Good job on eating healthier! Don't worry about your weight unless the doctor tells you to worry. I've only gained one pound so far (because I lost a bit due to morning sickness). Doc's cool with it, so I am as well.
