I hate feeling like this!

I feel guilty for even writing this. I'm 6.5wks. I've been dreaming of being pregnant for years, even before we even considered getting pregnant, I've just always loved the idea. And now that it's here...well, it's not all I thought. I feel sick (not throwing up), I'm nervous. My stomach always feels like its streching, I'm uncomfortable, exhasted, and this congestion won't stop. I know that it's all worth it, and I can't wait to see my little darling (haven't had my first appt yet), but I feel awful thinking this way. I had a mini break down with my DH yesterday, he hasn't been helping, wanting me to stay active, eat healthy, ect. And I feel like I'm letting him and our baby down cause all I want to do is sleep and I keep craving crappy junk food. Ugh. Sorry for the rant. I know pregnancy isn't always rainbows and butterflyes but ah, this stinks.

Don't get down on yourself- everyone has different symptoms and the first few weeks can be really rough.  Most people start to feel better in the second trimester and get some energy back, and that's when the excitement seems to kick in for a lot of people.  It's also when you get to do a lot of the "fun" stuff- if you want to find out the baby's sex, start registering, picking names and nursery stuff, etc.

Hang in there mama!

I hate hearing that DHs aren't understanding.  Pregnancy is hard, especially during the early days and the late days.  You are completely validated in feeling the way you do.

I totally feel you! I'm at 8 weeks and it stinks! I'm not throwing up either, but I'm bloated as hell and feel like a weigh a million pounds. My DH is understanding though, but my back hurts, my front hurts, my boobs hurt... I can go on and on, so you are not alone!

I fel the same way when I was in 1st Tri. I was so tired and if I ate anything, it was junk food. Once you hit 2nd Tri and you start showing, you get that great feeling of, "OMG I am pregnant" and you really start to enjoy it. Hang in there, and seeing LO for the first time on the screen is the best feeling ever, and hearing LO's heartbeat! Good luck and have a happy and healthy pregnancy!

I am sorry you are feeling this way. Your hormones are all over right now and so are your emotions. Don't feel bad just keep trucking along and hopefully your moods will brighten soon. :)

Don't be so hard on yourself.  How much you enjoy being pregnant has no bearing on how much you'll enjoy being a mother.  Being pregnant can suck.  The good news is that in a few weeks it'll probably be better and you'll be able to enjoy yourself more.  Your DH needs to understand that there is so much more to being pregnant than anything he can see.   It's almost incomprehensible how hard your body is working in those early weeks.  Gently tell him to back off because his urging to stay active is like asking him to run a marathon while fighting mono and a stomach bug at the same time.

I completely feel for you. So far, I hate being pregnant. I was so active before my pregnancy and now I have no energy at all. I have been forcing myself to run (I was an avid runner before and have been for years). I feel bloated and I have not been eating as well as I should be. Before I was pregnant we would eat chicken salad almost every night and I was very healthy during the day. Now that I am pregnant all I want is junk food and bean burritos. Here's to hoping it gets better!!

My Husband wants to start telling people, but I feel too miserable to share the news yet. Normally when you tell people they want to have a happy conversation & ask lots of questions, but right now I just feel like way too horrible. I just want to hurry up and get to the part where I can enjoy this! Right now I dread every day

I pretty much hated being pregnant from week 7 until week 16 with both my kiddies. After that it gets much better ( until the very end when the heartburn is rough) but I did enjoy it much more after 16 weeks.
