Hey ladies!

Not much new with me - day 5 of stims, 3rd monitoring appointment on Thursday. Just shooting myself up twice a day until then.

When is this 'bloaty' feeling supossed to start? Have I just not got there yet? I've been feeling pretty good so far.

Hi!  This is my first check in, so I hope I do it right! :) Yesterday was the last day of BCP, so now I'm just waiting on AF.  I go to my RE on Friday so that they can talk me through the first of the injections-Follistim and Menopur.  I watched the videos this morning and I think I'll be able to handle those two.  But after reading what everyone's saying about the Ganirelix I'm beginning to wonder if I can take that one!  My ER will be sometime between 2/13-2/15.   

QOTD:  Strength would probably be my organizational skills. I guess that comes from having been a teacher/coach for 16 years!  Weakness is definitely that I'm impatient. I try everyday to be more patient...it's a work in progress!

Also, just want to put it out there how grateful I am for being able to read advice, learn, and connect with you all.  Good luck to everyone!

Hey Ladies! Thanks for adding me to the group. I am waiting very impatiently for AF, so I can start estrogen patches for my FET. Why does she never come when we want her to?! 

QOTD: Tough question...I guess I would say my greatest strength is that I am an incredibly loyal friend/family member and would bend over backwards for the ones I love. My biggest weakness is probably that when someone wrongs me, I can be vengeful and have a very hard time letting go and moving past hurtful or bothersome things people do to me.

Me (33)- unexplained MH (35)- MFI due to Vericocele. Straight to IVF w/ICSI 9/12, Antagonist = BFN c/p, poor quality blasts, tested sperm dna fragmentation. Results all good, yay! New RE for IVF #2- 1/13., Long Lupron. ER on 1/22 -10R, 9M, 9F. Transfer on hold due to overstimming. FET in Feb. 2 frozen blasts. Another BFN & another c/p. RPL testing all negative besides MTHFR gene, vericocle repair surgery 4/12/13-Bilateral Grade 3 Vericocele found & fixed, IVF #3 with PGS 4/13- 11R, 9M, 9F. Transferred 2 normal=BFN, 3 normal on ice Everyone Welcome!!!

everything is pretty quiet here. FET is on Friday. i am thankful for my nurse friend who came over last night to give me my PIO shot since mh was oot for work.

i will get to be done with the vag viagra on thursday, so that is a bonus.

Nothing new here. I switch to 2 pills of Estrace starting tomorrow and I'm still chugging along on Lupron. This is going by so slow. I hate thinking that I would be having my lining check this week and ET would be next week if I didn't have that stupid cyst.

Dx: anovulatory due to prolactinoma (1.5cmx 1.5cm in 2006)
April 2012: MRI- questionable cyst 8mg by 12mm in pituitary
referred to RE by Ob-gyn after amenorrhea x 4+ months, provera ineffective, low estrogen level
cycle 1: May 2012, clomid 50mg; cycle cancelled, thin lining, no response
cycle 2: June 2012, femara 5mg; cycle cancelled, no response
cycle 3: July 2012, femara 7.5mg; cycle cancelled (largest folli on Cd12 & cd 16: 11, lining 4)

Aug. 8: met with RE, move to injectables if HSG and SA normal
Aug. 23: HSG all clear; DH- perfect
Switched to a new RE in early Sept. IVF here we come
Genetic testing reveals: Fragile X- Intermediate risk/grey zone.
IVF#1: ER 11/30: 14 retrieved, 10 mature, 7 fertilized. E2 prior to trigger 5200. Decision made to freeze 6 embryos and transfer later due to OHSS.
IVF#1.2/FET #1: estrogen injects start 1/18, FET delayed to try to thicken lining. lining 5.4mm. FET- 2/18- transferred one 3AA expanded blast. BFP 5dp5dt. Beta #1- 2/27 9dp5dt- 102.27 beta #2 3/1: 147 :(, beta #3 3/4: 268 stop meds. #4: 269, #5 133, #6 72, still in beta hell. Beta 7 (3/25) 29.

Hey Ladies! Thanks for adding me to the group. I am waiting very impatiently for AF, so I can start estrogen patches for my FET. Why does she never come when we want her to?! 

QOTD: Tough question...I guess I would say my greatest strength is that I am an incredibly loyal friend/family member and would bend over backwards for the ones I love. My biggest weakness is probably that when someone wrongs me, I can be vengeful and have a very hard time letting go and moving past hurtful or bothersome things people do to me.  

 Hopefully AF doesn't stay away too long! Welcome!

Hey all, FET is hopefully delayed and not cancelled to 2/11.  Still having fun with IM estrogen while my lining stays around 5mm with an E2 level of 848.  FX for some thickening over the next week.

QOTD:  I have a lot of ambition and drive which got me through medical school.weakness: Sometimes, my expectations are too high of other people. I expect people to act in a similiar manner to me and when they don't, I get aggravated and frustrated.

Dx: anovulatory due to prolactinoma (1.5cmx 1.5cm in 2006)
April 2012: MRI- questionable cyst 8mg by 12mm in pituitary
referred to RE by Ob-gyn after amenorrhea x 4+ months, provera ineffective, low estrogen level
cycle 1: May 2012, clomid 50mg; cycle cancelled, thin lining, no response
cycle 2: June 2012, femara 5mg; cycle cancelled, no response
cycle 3: July 2012, femara 7.5mg; cycle cancelled (largest folli on Cd12 & cd 16: 11, lining 4)

Aug. 8: met with RE, move to injectables if HSG and SA normal
Aug. 23: HSG all clear; DH- perfect
Switched to a new RE in early Sept. IVF here we come
Genetic testing reveals: Fragile X- Intermediate risk/grey zone.
IVF#1: ER 11/30: 14 retrieved, 10 mature, 7 fertilized. E2 prior to trigger 5200. Decision made to freeze 6 embryos and transfer later due to OHSS.
IVF#1.2/FET #1: estrogen injects start 1/18, FET delayed to try to thicken lining. lining 5.4mm. FET- 2/18- transferred one 3AA expanded blast. BFP 5dp5dt. Beta #1- 2/27 9dp5dt- 102.27 beta #2 3/1: 147 :(, beta #3 3/4: 268 stop meds. #4: 269, #5 133, #6 72, still in beta hell. Beta 7 (3/25) 29.

Hi everyone! I took my last BCP today!! I will be starting gonal f and menopur on Saturday with an ER planned for the 1314th.

My biggest strength is that I am a people pleaser, my biggest weakness is that I am a people pleaser :
Married 7/11/2009. TTC since 6/2011. Saw RE in 1/2012 dx with unexplained infertility. Clomid with IUI 4 times all BFN. Moved onto IVF October 2012, 10R, 8F, 2 transferred, 0 frosties = BFN. RE moving to Texas so started with new RE in December 2012. Plan for IVF #2 in February. ER 2/16/13 9R, 9M, 6F. ET 2/21/13 of two embies, beta #1 3/5/13 505! Beta #2 ??

Hi gals!  I am starting Lupron tomorrow morning and stims Friday for IVF #1.  Waiting on AF now.  I was spotting the whole time on BCP's so now that I ended them Sunday I am hoping to get an actual period sometime soon.  I just finished buying for the Elfster sock exchange and am so excited to mail my package out to my secret person!

Hello February Ladies,

I guess I may really need to be in the march group. But I'd like to hang around to hear how everyone does this month.

I am so annoyed because after a January egg retrieval - I have to wait until March for a FET! It seems like forever. I finally started my period yesterday. So I go in on Feb. 6 for a trial transfer, and then on 2/18 for my first progesteron check.  Does anyone know approximately how long after the first Prog. check I would get to do the actual transfer? My nurse has been particularly unhelpful with my questions about FET. I think I am driving everyone crazy!

QOTW - I always hate this question in job interviews - but strengths... I am good at making people feel comfortable.  Weakness - I have a bit of a lazy bone!
Me:38 - TTC for 3+years - Multiple failed IUIs (w/clomid, femara,injectibles - all BFNs) IVF #1 - Jan 2012, CP -IVF#2 March 2012, CP - Went back to IUIs all summer. Multi-Cycle Egg banking for FET. Egg retrieval #1 October, 2 frosties. Retrieval#2 January 2013. 6 eggs banked - waiting to be fertilized in March, FET March! FET - cancelled because zero eggs survived thaw process. April IUI, BFP - Beta #1 - 43, Beta #2 - 78, Beta #3 dropped, another CP. May IUI with Femara.

No real updates for me except Estrace is making me really nauseated. :(

QOTD: Strength: I do what I say I am going to do. Period. If I can't do something I said I would, I tell the person that might be affected and reset those expectations, but I'll move mountains to just make it happen as I said I would. Weakness: I expect the same thing of others and am frequently disappointed when others don't live up to this.

DH: Severe MFI
12/2/11 - IUI #1- BFN
8/1/12 - IVF #1 - Zero response from max stims (600iu intramuscularly)
My ovaries seem to be just for decoration

12/6/12 - Adopted five embryos that had been frozen for over ten years!
2/11/13 - Thawed four, sadly two didn't survive. Transferred two beautiful blasts.

2/16/13 - First BFP of my life!
3/27/13 - No heartbeat at 9w0d. D&C the following day.

4/23/13 - Matched to adopt five new embryos!

Hey all, FET is hopefully delayed and not cancelled to 2/11.  Still having fun with IM estrogen while my lining stays around 5mm with an E2 level of 848.  FX for some thickening over the next week.

QOTD:  I have a lot of ambition and drive which got me through medical school.weakness: Sometimes, my expectations are too high of other people. I expect people to act in a similiar manner to me and when they don't, I get aggravated and frustrated. 

I hope you're not cancelled too. If your ET is on 2/11, we will have transfers on the same day and can hold hands in the 2ww. :)

Me:38 - TTC for 3+years - Multiple failed IUIs (w/clomid, femara,injectibles - all BFNs) IVF #1 - Jan 2012, CP -IVF#2 March 2012, CP - Went back to IUIs all summer. Multi-Cycle Egg banking for FET. Egg retrieval #1 October, 2 frosties. Retrieval#2 January 2013. 6 eggs banked - waiting to be fertilized in March, FET March! FET - cancelled because zero eggs survived thaw process. April IUI, BFP - Beta #1 - 43, Beta #2 - 78, Beta #3 dropped, another CP. May IUI with Femara.

Status Update:  Had my first monitoring appt.  It went well, but they were a little worried about my TSH levels.  I had more blood work, and it all came back normal so I won't need to worry about taking more meds.

I did get some SUPER GREAT NEWS.... We finally heard back from the Lab.  They have 3 - high quality 6 day blasts frozen and waiting for us.   So I'm thinking we are definitely a go this month.  As long as I keep responding to the meds as required.

You can move me from 'waiting' to 'suppression'.  I started Lupron on Saturday.  DH did the first two days, but last night I did the shot all by myself!  Yup, I'm that amazing.

QOTD:  Strengths are probably empathy & creativity.  Weakness is that sometimes I can be pretty reactive, rather than thinking things through.  I'm really working on that one.  And as DH says, I'm a Scorpio, so I'm also a vindictive b*tch.
