I didn't lose mine quite that early, but I did lose it (or parts of it) twice. I lost one piece at 36 weeks and another at 38 weeks and ended up being induced at 40 weeks. They can grow back, so hopefully that's the case with you. Glad your doctor will be following you to ease any concerns you have.
