measuring small at 37 weeks?

Hi Ladies,

So I went to my regular OB appointment today and the Dr. asked me to come back in one week for a U/S.  For the last three visits my belly has measured at 35" and hasn't changed.  I'm currently 37w3d.  The Dr. didn't seemed concerned, just that she wanted to make sure the baby was growing properly.  Has anyone else had this happen to them?  I read in some other places this could just mean the baby has dropped?

Would love to hear your input!

I'm 36 weeks and a couple of days.  Had an ultra sound last week after measuring a little small at my 2 previous appointments.  When I went in today the nurse said that everything looks good and the amount of fluid around our girl looks good, she's just on the small side, but healthy.  She may end up being around 7 pounds at birth, maybe a little less.  She was measuring about 5 lbs. 7 oz. last week at the ultra sound.

Try not to worry until you see your doctor after the ultrasound.

I measured small throughout my 1st pregnancy.  Docs sent me for 3 extra ultrasounds which always came back normal.  They said he'd probably be really small & were surprised when he was born 7 lb 11 oz.  I was just carrying really tight, and DS1 was engaged pretty early.  Hopefully that's the case with you, too!

This is my 3rd baby, baby is still way high, and I'm measuring by fundal height a few weeks behind. My doctors are not concerned for a second. At this stage it is so hard to judge based off those measurements because it could be baby dropped or is in an odd position.
