Kaylen17:I know when I O'd because I was using ovulation tests and tracking CM. I know multiple people and have read multiple boards of women who's tests did not show positive until well after their start date, including a close friend who didn't show on HPTs until 2.5 weeks after her expected AF. These are not pms symptoms and they are not imagined. From everything I have read, it is entirely possible to feel symptoms so early since fertilization immediately begins a release of progesterone, the number one cause of the bloated/gassy symptoms. My pants would literally not button. Blood tests pick up much lower levels of HcG than an HPT, so I don't see how it's THAT crazy of me to want to take one. I definitely agree I could be more patient, but as I mentioned, I'm leaving the country on a cruise in a few days and would like to know whether I can hot tub, scuba, and get massages. I just don't understand why she had to be so incredibly rude about it.
What is in bold only indicates your body geared up to O, not that it actually did. Did you temp? That can confirm ovulation. So, you may not have ovulated and you may still actually have a chance to get pregnant this cycle. But, you are not pregnant right now.
