hair problems!! wth!!

I'm not sure if the pregnancy is causing this but GOODNESS!

 

my scalp has been itchy as crap lately and i now have really bad dandruff which is weird cause i never have dandruff and it's just super oily and i wash my hair every day and now im just like OMG what is happening?!?!. i need to get a hair cut or something or a good TLC on my hair.

 

i didnt switch shampoo or anything and i always do the same thing to my hair. MAYBE IT'S MEE LMAO IDK! but it started happening a little after i got pregnant.

Washing your hair every day can cause it to become/look oily. I've always been told to wash it every 2 to 3 days, not everyday. I bought a dry shampoo that I spray on my scalp in between washes.

chalk it up to those darn hormones! lots of us are experiencing the "grease ball" effect too.  it's because you're washing you're hair daily that your scalp is now dried out and caused the dandruff.  i color my hair so i use a shampoo for colored hair but have been using head & shoulders every other day.  pps suggested using a dry shampoo instead? i've never tried it but it's worth a shot! i hate the greasy hair that's also getting very dry and straw-like :( GL

i try not to wash it daily but i just dont understand it's so weird it was never like this before when i was washing it daily yeah maybe its mee haha. HEAD AND SHOULDERS IT IS! thank you (:

I'm not suggesting a dry shampoo instead of regular shampoo just for in between washes. You spray it on your scalp/roots and it soaks up the oils.

When I was PG with DS I was the same way...he sucked all the oil out of me, my skin was even dryer! Just wait until you are about 3 months post partum and your hair starts falling OUT...a lot, and it didn't stop  until I weaned DS. Of course now it is growing in so I have crazy flyaway hairs everywhere.

I do wash my hair every day - otherwise it gets oily and disgusting, all limp and I can't do a thing with it.  I've found that T-Gel or the generic store brands with the same active ingredients works well for my dry scalp/dandruff.  It's a little pricey, but it gets the job done.
4/12/10 - Began TTC 8/2012 - IFV #1 - 18 follicles retrieved, 11 usable, 10 fertilized, 9 continued to grow, 2 tranferred, BFN :( 9/2012 - Treated for uterine infection 10/2012 - Uterine infection cleared up 11/12/12- Began IVF #2 12/19/12 - 2 embryos tranferred 12/24/12 - Tested Christmas Eve morning - BFP!!! :) 12/28/12 - Beta #1 - 193 12/31/12 - Beta #2 - 624 1/7/13 - Beta #3 - 7544 1/14/13 - Beta #4 - 31,067 1/16/13 - IT'S TWINS!!!! Mine has been terrible also. It's that gorgeous combination of dry & flaky with huge grease spots. My skin has been really gnarly too :(

I have had very itchy scalp too. It has something to do with the hormones...the lovely hormones. :)

I asked this yesterday on my BMB. My hair is super oily and dandruff is crazy (I never have dandruff). I usually wash my hair once week and now I have to wash more often.
