No motivation to exercise

Anyone else not feeling it?  I should be walking at least a few times a week but I'm so tired all the time.

Not wanting to get off the couch? Yeah that's been me for the past month... I have no energy at all.

Your not alone with this one. I feel like such a lazy bum, but have no motivation or energy to get off of mine. Every now and then I'll get a day where I actually feel like super woman again, and then I crash. So, don't feel bad. ;)

I've been pretty lazy too, I'm blaming it on the cold weather and short days though. My plan is to get more walks in after daylight savings!

Yea I'm the same!! Except I chase my 2 yr old around. I'm potty training him so I feel like running to the potty is exercise!! I'm just so ready for spring and longer days!!!

I put the box of thin mints across the room so I have to get up and walk over there every time I want one. Which is often, considering I've eaten half the box.

I take classes before work every morning and it is just part of my routine, but I've definitely felt a lot more tired during the classes lately and not as thrilled about going.

Been blaming it on cold weather, snow, rain, etc but the couch is really where I want to be  = )

 I am going to start walking at lunch time so I can be able to get some exersice in while there is still light out and bounce in my step!

It is such a cycle: feel tired don't want to do anything. Exercise and feel better. 

I have kept up on my running and feel so much better, 5.5miles this morning.

The only exercise I get these days is cleaning my house, walking a bit at work and walking during errands on weekends. I've come to peace with the fact that I didn't work out as planned during pregnancy. I was told to stop in first tri and it was just too hard to get back into it once second tri came along.

Definitely not feeling it. It's hard too with my work schedule, I get off at 6 pm, and drive about 30 minutes home, so by that time, all I want to do is eat, and then don't want to do anything else after that.

But I did start to notice some new fat sections on my thighs, soooooo that means I'm going to get my butt up to the treadmill because I don't want those hanging around for long.

I walked on the treadmill for the first time in months yesterday. I only made it half an hour and I was only walking 3 mph. I told myself that I am going to try and wake up half an hour early to walk in the morning before work. Failed this morning already! I am going to try and do it right after work, but I doubt it will happen.

Same.  I didn't exercise at all with my first pregnancy either and despite what people say, I was still able to push her out (no epi) and lost all the baby weight 9 months PP.  

Pushing was a b*tch though, and really took a toll to the point that I vowed I would exercise during my next pregnancy.  I was so out of breath that they were giving me oxygen, and I didn't know I was even using half of the muscles that were sore for a week.  I couldn't lift my arms past my shoulders for days.

Still, so far this pregnancy I haven't done diddly.

I never feel it either, but honestly it gives me so much more energy doing it! I signed up for some races so it's good incentive to keep me goin

Married on 3.20.2004. It took 30 month, 2 failed adoptions and IVF for our first miracle. We have had 9 foster kids since he was born and started the domestic adoption process when he was 10 month old, we had 4 failed matches in that time. After our daughter was born we brought her home and spent 2 weeks fearing we might lose her because of complications that came up. But Praise God all went through and she is ours forever! I ran a full marathon 2 weeks before getting pg, so I totally thought I'd be the one running till the end. Wrong! I kept it up for a bit, nothing over 6 miles, but my boobs hurt so bad in the beginning that i was miserable! Probably because I never had any before! :) I try to walk 30 mins 5 days a week at least. I have no desire to do anymore than that at this point. Still keep telling myself I will get going on the yoga and squats. Maybe tonight while i watch the Bachelor!

I went to the gym once. Bought new runners and workout clothes and that was the end if that. They're hanging nicely in my closet. All I wanna do is lay in bed!

I'm alternating between pregnant yoga dvds and a pregnancy book with a new exercise move to add each week. (I find it ironic that the further along and the bigger you get, the more moves you have to do!) I alternate between them and probably exercise about 4 days a week. I keep saying I'm going to walk more when it gets warmer. We've had nothing but 20 degree days for most of the last 2 months now, with lots of snow and some ice, so frankly, I'm getting restless. Afraid my very nosy (and very bossy) neighbor will freak out though if she sees me trying to take on the snow-covered sidewalk. As for the energy, yeah. Right. I really have to shove myself into the exercise routines because otherwise, if I lay on the couch, a lot of the day gets away from me with nothing to show for it. And that somehow makes me MORE tired. (I never understood how that was possible. It's like when you over sleep. Then, you feel worse.) Anyway, maybe once spring comes and I finally get to witness the sun coming out, my energy will come back. Some of it anyway...
