All over dryness on my LO and the doctor said to leave it alone. Babies often loose their first layer of skin gradually after birth.

Yeah, both of my LO's had it, especially bad on their brow. It's normal, and it sheds off with time, my pedi told me to leave it. As long as you are putting lotion on your baby, and you aren't seeing any cracking of the skin, I'd say give it a few weeks and it'll be gone, but you can always contact your pedi if you are worried.

We use Vaseline on DD when she gets chapped cheeks. I also just ordered coconut oil to try.

sounds gross but it has helped dd, and helped a lot with baby acne, breast milk just a little and rub it in.

It's very normal for their skin to be flaky. It will go away in a couple of weeks. If you want to use some lotion or something in the meantime, go for it!

Coconut oil works fabulously for LO.

I've also tried Babyganics Eczema Cream which works great but smells yucky.

I agree with letting it go if you can.  If not, we use California Baby lotion.

This. It doesn't clog their pores like lotion does.

I tried Vaseline but it didn't work near as well as aquarfor medicated.

The virgin coconut oil also worked on my LO's face, but strangely, not on her legs.
