Someone I went to school with...

just named their son Oak.ley. ~sigh~ Wonder if they are going to be saying things like "Hey, Oak..." or his one day wife "Oak, honey, please do the dishes."

To me, this is a very popular sunglass and clothing brand name and that is all I can think of. I work in the same industry, so perhaps that is why, but I can't get passed that.

I think of the sunglasses, but I know a lot of people with this surname. I wonder if it was a last name for one of the parents family members at some point?
