Those that have used the Webster technique to turn their babies

When did you start going, did you continue after the baby flipped?  This baby is breech and I'm really hoping for a VBAC.  I called a Chiro in my area that does it, and she recommended continuing with it through the end of the pg so baby wont' flip back, I have no experience with it so not sure if it's necessary.  I really don't want to throw tons of money into it if it's unnecessary, but absolutely will if it's recommended.

I am going for my third appointment today with a chiro who specializes in Webster. He seems pretty confident that within 2 weeks of appointments the baby should turn. We haven't talked yet about if/when the baby turns if I will continue coming in for treatments. I am also doing acupuncture and moxibustion treatments as well. Good luck, I hope it works for you!

I had a injury several years ago that left me with a bad back/neck so I have been going to the chiropractor my whole pregnancy and plan to continue to go throughout.  Even if my back didn't hurt I would be going in to make sure my body is aligned and ready for baby to arrive.

The baby turning into the correct position isn't the only perk from being adjusted.  Keeping your body properly aligned can make delivery easier for both you and baby.  *If your pelvis is out of place it can make it more difficult for baby to get through.

Each person is different on how often they need/want to be adjusted.  In the beginning I went once a month and I just now started going once every 2-3 weeks.

Good luck!

With my 2nd DD I went from week 34 1/2 to just before 36 weeks. So only 4 visits. She flipped right before my 36 week appointment and I didn't even feel it! I didn't go again after that because once she flipped her head was pretty low and wedged in my pelvis.

I go to the chiropractor about once a month regularly, and now that my due date is getting closer, I'm going every two weeks. My chiro did the Webster method, but I honestly think what turned the baby was the fascia work she did. If you ask your chiro, he/she will know what that is. But yes, I will definitely keep going! If your insurance is like mine, you are going to reach your deductible this year anyway, so it's not like going to the chiropractor is a huge expense. I'm going to pay the $1,200 one way or another.

I recommend continuing to go once he's turned, mainly because keeping your pelvis well aligned can really help labor.  I start going for pelvic pain around 24 weeks, and keep going to the end as I have pain.
