Is this the norm? IUI question.

I just got the call telling me to use the Ovidrel tonight and we will do the IUI first thing tomorrow morning.  The nurse said we will do another IUI on Friday morning.

Is it the norm to get two IUIs back to back like this?

I had 9 IUIs and I never had back to back IUIs. That is weird to me. I will call and ask why. I am sure they have their reason and it has to do with your personal case.

Best of luck!

Me 35 and DH 35. Male factor issues, told have to do IUI. Two IUIs in 2010, DD born 1/20/2011. 2012 6 IUIs all failed. 2013 IVF 1, 20 follicals, 18 embryos, 8 frozen and 2 day five embryos put in March 2, 2013. Failed March 2013. Hoping to do FET in May 2013. Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker

Feb. 2013: IVF #3: Estrogen priming protocol.

My RE didn't do B2B, but I know some do.  Should be okay as long as you aren't dealing with MFI.  Good Luck!

Ugh.....we are dealing exclusively with MFI.  DH has a high count but low motility and morphology (although motility has gone up from 28% to 43% - morphology went from 2%-3%).

First RE recommended going right to IVF.  This RE said three rounds of IUI first. We are going for the IUI since it's covered by our insurance (IVF is not).

Thanks for the well wishes :)

Question: has your husband considered supplements, acupuncture for morphology?
