Tell me about your bottles :)

I plan on breast feeding and using bottles when needed but want to get a bottle that is close to a breast. Does anyone know of bottles that replicate the breast??

:o)

Little man started out BF. He loves our Avent Naturals. Tommee Tippee's were too fast for him. Also, get glass bottles. They heat up quicker and stay warm longer.

Playtex nurser. She seems to have to work at getting the milk out so a bottle feeding takes about the same amount of time as a breast feeding.

This! My DD uses these and still likes to nurse when I'm around!

My LC recommended the Breastflow.  That was nice, because we used them with DD too.

I FF but I love the playtex nursers and I also love Dr. Brown.  Both are great for reducing the amount of air LO takes in.  She is 4 months now but we are still on the newborn nipples.  Avent are ok too but they are too fast of a flow for LO.

avent classic. we've had no nipple confusion and i can turn them i nto sippy cups or storage bottles easily. the naturals aren't compatible with the rest of the avent line

I found the Born Free Slow Nipple 5 oz glass bottles worked the best for me.  The glass heats up faster and are easier to clean and my girl had no issues taking the nipple eventhough she had never had a bottle up until she was 15 weeks old:)

With DS we used Breastflow and they worked pretty well, then we switched over to Dr. Brown's.

This time we are using the Avent glass bottles.

Just to play devil's advocate here, your LO will take whichever bottle they want. Even if you think it replicates the breast, LO might hate it. So get 2 or 3 kinds and try them out. My LO eventually settled on the playtex ventaire, which I was happy about because they're much cheaper than a lot of the more popular brands!

We like Avent Naturals. My LO hated the Tommee Tippee's because the nipples bent or collapsed.   You might have to try a few different ones before you find on that your baby prefers to drink from.
