21 weeks starting to prepare for r baby girl..?s about baby stuff

I had to stop working recently because i fell babys fine but i don't wanna risk it well none the less r budget is really tight right now..was starting to look into baby products has anyone used the target up n up diapers any thoughts..what about the similac bottles any other affordable quality products anyone this is my first healthy pregnancy so im kind of lost as tot the nesisities and wut is not a must have item thanks again ladies

I love off brand diapers. When we added formula in we went with Target brand of enfamil.

When we use disposables it's usually Target brand.  I use most of their baby products.

I love the Target brand diapers - never had an issue with them leaking. I can't imagine spending extra for a Huggies or Pampers brand myself.

Love Target brand diapers.  Have used them for both girls and plan on using them for baby #3.  I have always used pampers for the first three months then switched to target brand....but I'm sure target brand would be just fine too.  Just a personal preference to start with pampers.

We used pampers for the first year then swithed to Target.  Loved them.  Probably would have switched sooner, but we got the papmers for free.

I use Target now except for overnight. But DS sleeps 11-12 hours at night, so has plenty of time to overflow his diaper. That's probably not an issue with a baby who sleeps for shorter periods. I didn't use them with him as a newborn, though, so I don't know how they handle newborn poop.

We use mostly cloth, but have always used Target brand for traveling or dealing with rashes and have always had good luck with them.

 

As for bottles, some babies are fussier than other and will only take certain ones. We used the Playtex VentAire standard and have always liked them. Really, the only thing LO NEEDS is a place to sleep, diapers, food & clothes.

My friend loves the up and up brand diapers. Im a ftm but i plan to use them since they are cheaper and she has never had an issue with them.

You know those lists they give you when you start a registry? Yeah you don't need all of that stuff. Thank goodness, right? :) We love target brand diapers here at my house as well as their wipes. Walmart brand (parent's choice) were a disaster for us though). Also when we were using formula still we used target brand. It's almost exactly the same as similac. We had all different kinds of bottles and some worked for our daughter and other didn't. As for the similac bottles they were good until she was old enough to chuck them pretty hard and they would bust.

One place to look for needs (blankets and clothes and even bottles and formula) is a baby consignment. And if you do end of using formula you can sign up on the formula brand sites and they will send you samples (that are quite large typically) and formula checks which are like coupons and similac tends to give them with $5 off. Hope this helps. :)

I love up up diapers, wipes, and formula!!! Cheap and very good. I've never had issues with their stuff.

My friend recommended them to me, she swears by them and said she would choose them over huggies or pampers

Love the Target brand diapers but I wouldn't recommend buying any brand of diaper in bulk, just in case your LO has a reaction to them - my daughter got a nasty rash from Luvs brand diapers so we used Pampers and then I bought a small pack of Target brand to try (no rash, awesome!)

We use the Target brand formula and they have a really good selection of organic baby food too (Happy Baby).  I was making DD's food for her but she got bored.  The Happy Baby food had really yummy flavors (yes, I've tasted them) and it's all organic ingredients.

I'm so  happy to hear all these great reviews of Target brand products! I'm in Canada and Target is just about to open around the corner from me in the next couple of months and I'm super excited! The deals are never as good in Canada as in the US when a US store comes here but hopefully it'll be better than what I paid for Pampers diapers/wipes for first baby.
