BF LO spits up every time I burp her!

And not a little bit, a decent amount. Doesn't matter if I fed her for 4 minutes or 15... Doesn't matter what position I use to burp her. She's a happy baby, I don't know what to do. Any ideas?

Thanks!!

Sounds like some sort of reflux but as long as it doesn't seem to bother her, she may just be a happy spitter. As long as she's gaining weight appropriately, and not projectile vomiting, I wouldn't worry too much right now.

Yeah my LO still has days where she has rivers of spit up coming out. As long as there are enough wet diapers and LO is gaining weight, and they don't seem to be in pain when it happens, it's more of a laundry problem than anything.

Get more burp cloths!  ;)

Mine does this, too.  Like pp mentioned, as long as she doesn't seem to be in pain and is gaining weight, it's more of a laundry problem than anything.  I always keep an extra top in my vehicle because DD spits up so much and despite my best efforts, I end up with gross shoulders on a pretty regular basis.

Good luck!

Is it possible that your breasts are too full? Maybe you can pump out a little before you feed her. It may or may not help if it is a reflux problem. Don't worry too much about it , though if as pp stated that she is gaining weight and otherwise happy.

Yep. I finally adjusted to all the spit up all over me and DD and then last week she started screaming with it. It was definitely a cry of pain. After 2 nights of almost no sleep I took her to the ped and got us some Zantac. But as long as she doesn't seem bothered by it I wouldn't worry. The ped even said that the Zantac wasn't going to stop the spitting up but would help with the pain from it. She spits up less but still almost every feeding.
