I had a SCH with my last pregnancy, and had my first bleed at 10 weeks. I had them about every 2 weeks until my water broke at 23weeks (my clot dislodged and broke my sac too).
What happened to you sounds just like a SCH, although to be honest I'm surprised they didn't ask to see you right away to verify it and make sure the babies are ok. That's the first thing my office said to do when i said I was gushing blood, to go to the ER right NOW. Chances are they'll put you on pelvic rest until you SCH resolves itself. As well as limited activity, like no lifting heavy things, etc
Whenever I had a bleed I put myself on bedrest for a few days and then ate a steak or red meat. Get some iron in you because losing that blood so quickly really drains you. Or at least it did me :)
