Newbie, kinda (warning ticker I can't remove!)

Hi,

UPDATE: sorry about the siggy/ticker it's really old and the bump won't let me update it for some reason. I keep getting error messages even when I try to delete it!  Eek!  Sorry.   

So I've tried to update my siggy to no avail (it's posted below).  I just wanted to introduce myself again.  It's been a long time since I posted, like years.  I hope you'll have me as a member. I don't feel as though secondary IF is a great fit for me.  I still have the primary IF mindset with our quest.  I hope that's ok with you all.  

I'm more of a lurker but just wanted to say hi as I feel I am starting to get to know you all. I have been struggling lately emotionally with the whole roller coaster we are all on and needed some additional support from people that understand.  You'd think it gets easier after going through it for months, or years, or even after having a a child, but once infertile, always an infertile in my mind, childless or not.  I know we are blessed to have what we already have but it doesn't lessen the heartache and disappointment of failed cycles.  So, if you'll have me, I'd like to visit for a bit with you all.  Thanks.  Xo

 

Me = 35 PCOS, 1 tube removed for adhesions DH = 34 low morph

April '09 IVF (antagonist protocol) = 5R5M, none fertilized

May/June '09 IVF/ICSI = 6R6M6F, 2ET on 6.18.09, 1 frostie Beta on

6.30.09 = 51 OMG!! Beta #2 = 167 Beta #3 = 2630!!!!!

3.16.10 a healthy beautiful miracle boy born via unscheduled c-section

Now on the quest for one more so our dear son is not alone.

May/June '12 IVF/ICSI (antagonist protocol) =10R9M9F, 1ET = BFN, 2 frosties

Aug '12 FET,1ET= beta hell, 2 rounds of methotrexate,4 months later Hcg < 2

Jan/Feb '13 IVF/ICSI (long lupron protocol) = 18R18M18F, 1ET = BFN, 10

PLAN: Apr '13 FET w 2 embryos (one from '09 and one newer one)
Me= 35 PCOS, 1 tube removed for adhesions, ovulation issues DH = 34, low morphology, no fertilization without ICSI - - - 2 IVFs in '09, first cancelled after ER, second round completed w/ICSI (antagonist protocol for both) for DS, now on the long journey for a playmate, 2 IVFs w/ICSI in '12 (1 antagonist and 1 long lupron) BFNx2, 2 FETs so far with one ectopic and one biochemical tease, FET 3 planned for June '13

Me (33)- unexplained MH (35)- MFI due to Vericocele. Straight to IVF w/ICSI 9/12, Antagonist = BFN c/p, poor quality blasts, tested sperm dna fragmentation. Results all good, yay! New RE for IVF #2- 1/13., Long Lupron. ER on 1/22 -10R, 9M, 9F. Transfer on hold due to overstimming. FET in Feb. 2 frozen blasts. Another BFN & another c/p. RPL testing all negative besides MTHFR gene, vericocle repair surgery 4/12/13-Bilateral Grade 3 Vericocele found & fixed, IVF #3 with PGS 4/13- 11R, 9M, 9F. Transferred 2 normal=BFN, 3 normal on ice Everyone Welcome!!!

Married 8/14/10 * TTC since Aug 2010 * Met with RE in Feb 2012 * DH: low motility, low sperm count, elevated FSH * Me: Stage 4 Endometriosis * Laparotomy to remove endo in May 2012 * June 2012 - DH on Rx to hopefully increase count/quality * Re-tested sperm 10/22/12, count/quality have both dropped * IVF #1 w/ICSI * Transferred 2 beautiful embryos on 2/18/13 * Beta #1 3/1/13 - 636!!! **TTC #1 since Sep 2009** Me: 31 DH: 29 (healthy, SA = normal)

DX (May 2010) = Lap #1 showed Stage I-II endometriosis. HSG normal. Tx with 6 mo Lupron (which did nothing...) Lap #2 June 2011 to remove endo, uterine fibroid, and polyp

IUI #1-#3 (July-Sep 2011): All Clomid 50 mg + unmonitored IUI = All BFN

October 2011 - April 2012: Outta $$$ (no insurance coverage) = back to tryin' on our own

May 2012 - August 2012: Mental break from trying

October 2012: New OB. Bloodwork normal aside from slightly low progesterone

November 2012: IUI #4: Letrozole 2.5 mg + Novarel trigger + monitored IUI + progesterone = BFN

IVF #1: Long Lupron Protocol,Menopur,Follistim, ER = 2/12/13 27R/26M/23F

2/17/13 Transferred 1 perfect Grade 1 blast. 17 frostbabies.

HPT 7dp5dt: BFP!!! Beta #1 9dp5dt: 108 Beta #2 11dp5dt: 368

U/S #1 3/19: One little bumpkin with a perfect HB!! EDD: 11/5/13

Welcome back!  We will be doing FET in April as well.  It is giving me something to look forward to.  I know it sounds strange, but it feels like my life is missing something without all those appointments/meds/shots/blood draws/phone calls.  That life was my new "normal" and it is really hard getting back to the way things used to be.  Good luck with everything:)
TTC 2 years- Me and DH (28) with low sperm count ER 1/23/13- 4 eggs retrieved IVF/ICSI#1 3 eggs fertilized ET with 1 embryo 1/28/13 2 frosties beta #1 2/5 was 4.8- beta #2 2/7 3.5; BFN FET #1- transferred one beautiful 4AA embie. Praying this is my take home baby. Beta 5/7/13- BFFN!!! Planning on IVF#2 fresh cycle with the hopes of transferring 2 embryos this time...keeping that frostie nice and safe for later use. Prayers welcomed!!!!

TTC since Jan 2010 with OPKs. Me: 41, Hypothyroidism, hetero MTHFR C677T, hetero Factor V Leiden (no previous clots) Dx: DOR due to AMA. Rx: 100mg Levothyroxin, FaBB tab, Spring Valley Prenatal Vitamins, Vitamin D. Hubby: 34, Hyperthyroidism, Fragile X carrier, Great swimmers!
Natural PG 9/27/11; MC at 8wks. Used Cytotec to expel: 1/20/12 (unpleasant)
First RE visit: 8/8/12, Saline Sonogram: 8/28/12(4cm unknown mass in upper left of uterus) 2nd Saline Sonogram: 10/2/12 (mass disappeared!) IVF injection class: 10/11/12
IVF #1: 10/17/12 Baseline: FSH- 9.4, E2- 24, LH- 3.7, Progesterone- 0.3. 6 follicles in my right ovary & 9 in my left. Rx: 150 Bravelle & 150 Menopur SQ in AM. 10/21/12: Add Ganirelix SQ in PM. 10/26/12: hCG Trigger IM. ER 10/28/12: 13R, 7M, 6F. 5 Made it to PGS. ET 11/2/12: CANCELED. PGS: All 5 have "severe abnormalities." Devastated. Begged RE for back-to-back IVFs; Started Provera 11/2/12. AF said FU and came anyway, destroying any chance for a Dec IVF. Maxed out lifetime IF meds insurance. I can barely breathe, waiting to get through this process, hoping for my take-home-baby.
IVF #2: 1/7/13 Baseline: FSH- 8.8, 4 follicles in my right ovary & 6 in my left. Rx: 150 Bravelle & 150 Menopur SQ in PM. 1/11/13: Add Ganirelix SQ in AM. 1/16/13: hCG Trigger IM. ER 1/18/13: 9R, 5M, 5F. 2 Made it to PGS. ET 1/23/13: CANCELED. PGS: All embryos have "multiple severe abnormalities." RE recommends we stop trying and focus on living childless, due to the repeated extremely poor quality of my eggs. I don't even know what to do with that.
IVF #3- NEW RE! 100% OOP: 3/1/13 Baseline: FSH- 9.6, E2- 61, Progesterone- 0.94, 3 follicles in my right ovary & 4 in my left. Rx: 150 Bravelle & 150 Menopur SQ in PM. 3/7/13: Add Ganirelix SQ in AM. hCG Trigger 3/9/13 SQ. 3/11/13 ER: 6R, 2M, 2F. Day 3: one 8 cell, grade 0. 3/16/13 Five day ET: one early blast, grade Fair. 3/24/13 Started period a day before beta. BFN.
IVF #4 (FINAL) (Added acupuncture to this cycle.): 3/25/13 WTF & Baseline: FSH-11.8, E2- 56, Progesterone- 0.84 3/26/13 Start stims. 3/30/13 u/s: 5 follicles in my right ovary & 4 in my left. Rx: 225 Bravelle & 225 Menopur SQ in PM. 3/31/13 Add Ganirelix SQ in AM. hCG Trigger 4/3/13 SQ. 4/5/13 ER: 5R, 3M, 3F naturally. Day 3: two 8 cell, grade 0, one 8 cell, grade 2 (Scale 0-best to 3-worst). 4/10/13 Five day ET: two blastocysts (the 3rd stopped growing.) 4/18/13 Beta: 2.5 BFFN.
No DE or adoption for us, FIRM.
That’s it for us. I am beyond devastated and have no idea how to proceed from here. My life has been forever altered by this experience. Best wishes to all in their journeys!
